Day 16: a picture of someone who inspires you
There really are so many people I could put for this, but I'd have to go with. . .
my first piano teacher, Katie Williams Petersen.
She was really young when she started teaching me in Texas. I was only 7 and a half.
I learned so much with her, and because of her, I grew to love piano!
The reason why she inspires me is because of everything she's been through, and the faith she's had to overcome it all. No matter what life has thrown at her, she's shown me courage in the greatest form, and the importance of love in your life.
Thank you so much, I can't wait to be a wonderful mother like you some day! <3
Day 17: a picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently
Hmmm. . . . this is a tough one.
But I'd have to say getting inducted into the National Honor Society!!!!
I was so nervous, walking down the aisle, while millions of lights were flashing in my face. I felt famous, yet annoyed! I knew if I tripped, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE would have seen it. . . . so maybe it's a good thing I didn't.
Me, Nam, Dave and Della
Me with my two best friends, Della and Britney
How could I forget the advisor (and my tennis coach) of NHS?
Mr. Seibert
And of course. . .my two drama buddies. . .
Tj and Eddie!
After sitting in my chair for what seemed like f-o-r-e-v-e-r. . .they called our names, and I walked up that stage beaming! I lit my candle and after everyone's name was called, we all walked down the stairs and out the auditorium.
Holding our candle.
And mine almost blew out.
And I think I tripped a little.
And afterwards, for the huge picture, the senior members decided to silly string us!! I got it all over me! And since I am short, I was in the front, and so my face got plastered with the stuff, and my crazy, curly hair was covered as well. But it was fun!
Desiree, me and Austin laughing!
I think me and Desiree (the girl on the left) were laughing at Jamil and all the stuff in his hair. . .
Me and Jamil, trying to get the silly string off!
Oh, the smell hahaha!
But I had a great time, and it's something I'll remember. . .
forever.
