day eighteen & nineteen

Day 18: a picture of your biggest insecurity

Honestly, my biggest insecurity would be loneliness. . .

friend-wise

marriage-wise

etc.

Let's face it.

I need my other half.

Day 19: a picture of a phrase you live by

There are actually 3 phrases, so I'll share them with you :)

1 .) Answer promptly with a smile

Whenever I read this, I take it to try to be positive with w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r life throws at me.

To be prepared for the worst

and battle with my smile. . .

:)

2.) I can't. . .I'm Mormon
I CAN'T I'M MORMON

I don't think I need to explain this one.

Just the fact that I like to stand up for my beliefs, and I'm not afraid anymore of how people will judge me if I decide to
"say no".

3.) Be a little crazy now and then.

Pinned Image

Always am.

Believe me.

And I love every minute of it!

day sixteen & seventeen

Day 16: a picture of someone who inspires you

There really are so many people I could put for this, but I'd have to go with. . .

my first piano teacher, Katie Williams Petersen.

She was really young when she started teaching me in Texas. I was only 7 and a half.

I learned so much with her, and because of her, I grew to love piano!

The reason why she inspires me is because of everything she's been through, and the faith she's had to overcome it all. No matter what life has thrown at her, she's shown me courage in the greatest form, and the importance of love in your life.

Thank you so much, I can't wait to be a wonderful mother like you some day! <3

Day 17: a picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently

Hmmm. . . . this is a tough one.

But I'd have to say getting inducted into the National Honor Society!!!!

I was so nervous, walking down the aisle, while millions of lights were flashing in my face. I felt famous, yet annoyed! I knew if I tripped, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE would have seen it. . . . so maybe it's a good thing I didn't.

Me, Nam, Dave and Della

Me with my two best friends, Della and Britney

How could I forget the advisor (and my tennis coach) of NHS?
Mr. Seibert

And of course. . .my two drama buddies. . .

Tj and Eddie!

After sitting in my chair for what seemed like f-o-r-e-v-e-r. . .they called our names, and I walked up that stage beaming! I lit my candle and after everyone's name was called, we all walked down the stairs and out the auditorium.

Holding our candle.

And mine almost blew out.

And I think I tripped a little.

And afterwards, for the huge picture, the senior members decided to silly string us!! I got it all over me! And since I am short, I was in the front, and so my face got plastered with the stuff, and my crazy, curly hair was covered as well. But it was fun!

Desiree, me and Austin laughing!

I think me and Desiree (the girl on the left) were laughing at Jamil and all the stuff in his hair. . .

Me and Jamil, trying to get the silly string off!

Oh, the smell hahaha!

But I had a great time, and it's something I'll remember. . .

forever.

November 18, 2011

day twelve & thirteen

Day 12: a picture of something you love

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
ANYTHING SWEET!

Like ice cream (I will eat one of these before I die. . . at least 7 scoops)

chocolate covered strawberries. . . you know you want it

and I can't forget pixy sticks!

although, that's not an entirely good idea.

Me + pixy sticks = a completely different side of me!

But you'd love to see that anyway ;)

Day 13: a picture of your favorite band or artist

Hmmm. . . I'd have to go with either:

Boys Like Girls

Pinned Image

or Coldplay

Pinned Image

although I grew up with. . .

Backstreet Boys <3

Pinned Image

but there's sooooo much more. . . like Owl City
Paramore
Michael Buble

Drake

Man, music is my life <3

November 17, 2011

day ten & eleven

Day 10: a picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

My mother!!!

I can't thank her enough for every little thing she's done for me.

So. . . .

I guess I can thank her here.

Thank you mom, for showing me kindness when no one else did.

For giving me love when I needed it the most.

For taking the time to talk with me when I felt despair.

For raising me up when I was feeling down.

For helping me grow when I became too shy.

For having the patience and forgiveness when I was too stubborn to learn.

And for accepting all my flaws, and loving who I am.

I love you.

Day 11: a picture of the person you do the most crazy things with

Does this need to be explained?

and then there's also this. . . . . . .
we were pranking our fellow young women during youth conference

(we TP'd their car and plastered their windows with Oreo's)

Needless to say, my girls from Cherry Hill 2 are pretty crazy :P

And last but not least,

DELLA!!! <3

So to say in the most simplest form ever. . .

I. Am. A.Crazy. Girl.

And I love it!

November 11, 2011

day nine

Day o9: a picture that makes you laugh

I can't choose just one, so I'm doing 3!

Okay, so the first one is Meredith, me, and Ali at Girls Camp!
It was so much fun!
We were YCL's this year,
and this was taken on our over-night hike up the mountain.

The second one was also from Girl's Camp.

We were making a tent out of tarps, and we decided to have some fun hahaha!!

This is Amber, April, Emily, Becca, Ali, and me <3

The third and last one was taken during the Mormon Prom this past May.

Me, Megan and Emily were doing "Teach Me How To Jimmer"!

hahahaha good times

November 9, 2011

day seven & eight

Day 07: a picture of your most treasured item

So this was a really tough one, and at first, it took me a while to actually choose something that I really did treasure.

But my most treasured item are my mom's scriptures. . .the ones on the left.

Those are my ribbons,
but my dad is the one who bought her these scriptures
when she joined the church.

How sweet is that?? <3

Day 08: a picture of something you hate

enough said.

November 6, 2011

day six

Day 06: a picture of something you'd like to do again

I was a 'party girl' in The Nutcracker.

I started dancing when I moved to North Carolina in 2006, and unfortunately, I stopped when I moved to New Jersey.
But I did have a LOT of fun, and hopefully I'll try it again!

I had a really good dance instructor, and I learned a lot of things from her.

I also danced in a christmas production, which we choreographed ourselves.

That was a great time in my life, plus I liked all our costumes we wore hahaha :)

Brianna, me, and Emily

November 5, 2011

day five

Day 05: a picture of your favorite memory

Oh man, I have so many favorite memories. . .so I've decided to share more than one!

1.) I loved going over to grandma's house and help her make all kinds of food. . .
especially cakes!
This one here is my birthday cake for my 5th birthday!

Gosh, I miss her.

2.) My second cousin, Mackensie, always loved playing with my hair while I would play piano at her house.

I remember one time, I was jumping on the trampoline, when I fell into their backyard pond!

I was so embarrassed, but everyone thought it was hilarious! I remember being so freaking cold!

But nevertheless, I always had fun with her!

3.) One tradition we have in our family is making cascarones on Easter.

You take an egg, make a hole that's as wide as a nickel, and empty the egg from the hole, until there's no yoke inside. Let the egg dry, and then you fill the egg with confetti. Instead of glue, we use tape to cover the hole. You can dye the eggs using a dying kit, but I use markers. They work the same way :)

After that's finished, simply crack them on someone's head! This is me, age 6, and my dad, the day before Easter.

4.) My baptism

Does this need any more explanation?

I felt completely happy that day, and I was so grateful. My favorite primary song is "My Heavenly Father Loves Me" because of my baptism.

And I am so grateful that my dad was the one to baptize me.

Thanks, dad.

day four

Day 04: a picture of a habit you wish you didn't have

I over-analyze things.

Like, a lot.

And that's never good.
So I have to watch how I think all the time. . .

and just abide by this picture.

I have to live life, and not be afraid to do anything!

"Life is to be enjoyed, not endured."
-Gordon B. Hinckley

But's that's always easier said than done. . .

November 4, 2011

day three

Day 03: a picture of the cast from your favorite show.

Criminal Minds Cast courtesy of Criminal Minds Fanatic and CBS Jackie

I LOVE CRIMINAL MINDS.

enough said.

plus, I think Dr. Reid is pretty foxy ;)

especially with short hair!

And Agent Morgan is mighty fine as well!

But I prefer Agent Hotchner when he's serious. . . his smile looks funny.

No offense Hotch.

I still love you :)

day two

Day 02: a picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

This was a tough one, let me tell you. I've made so many friends due to moving around a lot, and most of them I still keep in contact with!

But, the person who I've been closest with the longest, would have to be my father.

Not only am I grateful for him, and everything he's ever done for me, but he's helped me a lot.

Through the good times, and the bad.

One of my favorite memories would have to be when I was about 3, I want to say. We used to get cream cheese donuts, and we'd play Tony Hawk Pro-skater on his Playstation!! I always died on the games, but man, he was so good!!
Hahaha that was fun! :)

So thanks dad, for all you do.

I hope you understand how much it really means to me.

How much you really mean to me.
